16:27:00

Butterscotch is a halal cafe and it's located in the neighbourhood of Bukit Merah. The cafe has opened for more than a years old now and it attracted more and more malay people come and visit them. The cafe is really a quiet, lovely place to chill out and relax by.

Food:
Latte - $5.50

The latte was below-par. The coffee aroma wasn't strong enough and it was very acidic.

Taste: 0/5

Truffle Fries - $9

This must be the worst truffle fries that i ever eaten!! No truffle aroma, overly salty and it was worst than a normal fries.

Taste: 0/5

Ramly Meets Wendy Burger - $14

The burger came with wedges, shitake mushrooms, and the burger was filled up with cabbage, tomato, cucumber, egg, beef patty topped up with mayonnaise and mushroom sauce.

The burger was just pretty average. The beef patty was less flavorful and it was overcooked. The mushroom sauce was quite bland and salty.

Taste: 0.5/5

Chicken Chop - $14

The chicken chop was served with wedges and coleslaw.

The chicken chop was tender but it was just a normal chicken chop that you can get it any western food places. The sauce was appetizing enough. The coleslaw and wedges was just normal. Nothing outstanding in this dish.

Taste: 0.5/5

Food: 0/5
Ambiance: 0.5/5
Service: 1/5

Overall, The cafe is charging Service charge but it doesn't has GST. The food quality was super duper bad!! The ambiance was quite noisy too as it was quite packed and the people is talking loudly in the cafe. The lighting is making us sleepy as it was yellow and deem light. Obviously it was not worth a visit.
